This was a week long spring camp workshop held at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center. The focus was on self identity through culture, personal interests, and objects from from home. The students and I utilized various art materials and objects brought from home. The students were encouraged to highlight their culture, interests and things they that felt related to their self-identity. The workshop ended with all students creating title cards for their work and an exhibition title for their first group show.
