“Two figures imagined from real life, and a scene taken from various memories are puzzle pieced together.
Lovers joined at the head, sharing music and maybe thoughts and the same somber expresssion. Although they watch a loading screen, the music still doesn’t end instead it continues on through one ear and then the other.
A knee piercing the pillow of a twin sized bed, while candy, shoes and forgotten food clutter the living space beneath.
With glowing, sparkling eyes and a slight frown from both to accompany it, they watch the waiting screen with the anticipation of that doesn’t come.
Eventually the music will stop and he’ll wonder (and maybe she will too) if they should refresh or restart or maybe just find something else to do.
But until then they’ll stare into the loading screen, joined at the head.”
